Soli-Lunar Astrology thru Mark S. McNutt

Soli Lunar Astrology returns us to the original and ancient template of using the seasons, denoted by the Sun sings, coupled with the lunations of the Moon. Astrology for Bel times

Happy birthday to all of you Tauruses!
We move into the stimulation of Springtime with Sun and Moon at the end of Aries and moving into Taurus, the Fixed sign of determination and Earth plane grounding thru strong effort and reliability. But first, a few words about Beltane-
Mid-Spring was known in Europe and elsewhere in the Northern Hemisphere as the Bel Temps, or good times, and is one of the sources of the word Beltane.
Most Astrologers believe that energy radiates outward from the middle of the fixed signs, going to the beginning and end of the season. It does not begin with the beginning of the season and march forward in a linear manner, that is just the way our rational (male) minds construct movement. Seasonal energy is more like ripples or waves issuing from a central point and that is the middle of the fixed signs (Taurus the Bull, Leo the Lion, Scorpio the Eagle, Aquarius the Humyn or Angel). These are also called the Cross Quarters. This is why the Bible and other esoteric documents symbolize these 4 creatures as a projection of 3d reality to our symbol oriented minds.
There is also a link with the Lunar cycle and Pagan year which begins at Samhain (All Saint’s Day, the day after All Hallowed Evening or Halloween), but this really used to be 11/5 or so, and the time around then which is based on the Lunar cycle of the New Moon at mid-Fall. The Pagan calendar follows also a Lunar cycle beginning at Samhain (mid Fall Cross Quarter) and proceeds thru the eight Lunar phases during the 8 Solar holidays of the year; denoted by the beginning of each season and its’ cross quarter in the middle of that season. So Beltane is the joy of Spring exemplified, as summer is expressed in early August and Winter in early February for example. As the Moon phases are followed symbolically, Beltane is the time of the flower, the Full Moon, and we celebrate the pollination after maximum fertility is reached.
So then Solar Beltane is around 5/5, but often Pagans speak of Lunar Beltane, which is the time of the Full Moon in the middle of Spring, always a Moon in Scorpio which implies the mood of sexual fertility and balanced with the sensuality of Taurus. This is why it is such a Bel time. The ritual of Beltane celebrates life coming into full fertility in the garden and in our own beings. Life, death, and sexuality are transformative partners in the walk of life.

Astrology for Bel Times

As I am writing this column with Beltane on my mind, we start with the Full Moon which is 5/2, and the recent events leading up to it.
The last weekend in April has a waxing Moon moving into fullness on 5/2 in Scorpio. We can expect the first half of this Lunar month to be full of spontaneous activity that hopefully rains down into fundamental grounded change and slow earthening of what we wish to project and create in our worlds. Practical solutions and following thru on your commitments are highly potent now. Picture the bees being very busy with their work and stimulated by the potency of promise and act accordingly.
Mercury enters Taurus on 4/27 which then grounds the stimulated mind into practical matters which include awareness of budget and practical plan making. This Astrological environment is stimulated by a kaleidoscope of fundamental change brought forth by the following-
Pluto beginning its’ retrograde in early April. This means that Pluto is not moving much at all, then backwards for the entire month. This stationary motion renders Pluto (transformation, deep change, soul searching and truth seeking) to be more like a photograph than a movie,. Stay tuned in the end of August for how this plays out under the eclipses, etc (And attend the Creation Festival at Aerious-YewWood for further transformation 8/23-26).
Saturn and Jupiter have also been stationary this month (see previous column). Saturn has to do with grounding and commitment, and boundaries; while Jupiter expresses the opposite- freedom, expansion, and unbridled self expression. These two planets are once again in trine which is very favorable for letting go of the past and moving forward once the stationary is over. This provides renewed enthusiasm and generates opportunities for expansion, growth, fun, and liberation of spirit. Depending on your personal horoscope, one or the other will be pronounced-grounding or expansion, commitment or liberation, or both They are cooperating now in the reshuffling and it is a Bel time to take advantage of thru taking action in the coming weeks.
Most important, there is a T Square/Grand Cross involving at least four planets between 4/25-30 which is strong and dramatic, especially for mutable signs. Mars is in conjunction with Uranus and the North Lunar Node in Pisces, which denotes taking sudden and unexpected action and bringing forth unexpected karmic changes in path and direction.. Expect the unexpected and pay (give) attention!
Venus is in Gemini in Square with these, and squares are stress points in the horoscope that squeeze forth change. Venus has to do with most aspects of life that people get readings for- love, money success, social life, fertility, and matters of the heart. Gemini denotes duality, mental activity, and the social butterfly. This is not a good time for making commitments such as marriage as words and actions are unreliable. Depend on yourself and no other but have fun. Venus is in opposition with Jupiter in Sagittarius. Your personal dualistic, contradictory, stimulating effects of this time vary greatly and a sound bite sentence to sum it all up just won’t do (at least from this Virgo Moon Astrologer). Suffice to say that socially and romantically, the deck is being reshuffled and that the ability to be in the moment, walking with your personal truth and dharma while participating in the social dance, is paramount. A good time for social outreach and dancing into the future.
These combined aspects can cause stress and challenge, but may be fleeting, They mostly affect the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces with Gemini and Pisces shining with it and Virgo getting somewhat frustrated generally speaking. When I mention this, I am speaking to those who have these signs as Sun, Moon, Rising, or in this case Mars or Venus. (Attend one of my classes or get a personal reading for more in depth coverage of this short term time.
This energy settles down a bit after it peaks under the Beltane aspects of 4/25-5/4. My general brief advice- have lots of fun, be social, but remember your responsibilities and ties to the rest of your life. When Venus enters Cancer on 5/8, it just might settle down a bit, but I wouldn’t rely on that, it is just words and not experience. Go experience life and the Bel times.

Day and I are well and send Mark and Marygold and the entire tribe gleaming and radiant Faery Light and Love.
How I wish I could have celebrated my 23rd birthday on and with the Land this past Beltane.
As corny as it sounds, I was there in spirit (and I visit frequently).
Now I must learn to work with a whole new east coast energy!

Woo-hoo good times at YewWood!

The Aerious/YewWood community is at a high, with several motivated and pleasant people on for thie summer, tearing down old structures and putting up new. Soon the sauna will be just up the bank from the river and the new outdoor kitchen will be complete. The garden is rawking, we busted it out so we could plant many seeds in the full moon in Scorpio on Lunar Beltane. The female duck is sitting on her eggs under the yurt, little kitty Hecate is pregnant with the late great Charles' great-grandbabies, and chickens are happy in their new large enclosure (and the rest of the land is free again to grow grass and flowers :) ). The garden was a nursery for evening primrose, comfrey, Queen Anne's Lace, and foxglove, which now grace shrines and common areas. Ancestor shrine revealed itself in the fairy grove and all the forest flowers are blooming. 'Tis a magical time at YewWood! We are planning for this year's Creation Fest (the end of August), so much fairy magic and transformation! Yee-Haw! Come on down if you get a chance! Namaste~

The New Moon has, for awhile, occurred at the end of the Sun’s passage thru the sign. This is counterintuitive to what one would assume about a new sign being the beginning of new energy or focus, but is not far off. With Sun sign based Astrology, Astrologians (those Astrologers who write on the subject) give a report based on very general effects. This then varies with your personal horoscope, and is more generic entertainment than an actual reading.

Happy New Year March 20th, 5 PM (PDT), when the Sun enters Aries. This is the beginning of the zodiacal year, the Spring Equinox; when the days and nights are in balance.

Yet, we are following lunations here, and we are living in interesting times as the New Moon is at the end of Pisces the day before on the last day, more or less of the zodiacal year.

Many Astrologers have attempted to describe the odd, dark, magickal energy of the 13th lunation of the year, yet it’s energy is illusive. As there are 12 signs and 13 1/3 lunations a year, the rational and magickal are constantly counting time and space with different standards- the planet of the rational mind attempts to describe the magickal universe that lies beyond thru the telescope of logic. But the spiral dances around these limited thoughts and illusions of control. Some refer to the final lunation of the year with Sun and Moon in Pisces, as the Spirit Weaver Arachne, or Lilith, or another form of Crone Energy the describes age, wisdom, and final magick.

So the New Moon on 3/18 seeds the impending spring with deep magick. What does that mean in our daily lives? Well, for a start, sacrifice, karma, spiritual awareness, and greater understanding will fuel the spontaneous fires of Aries. But before that, from 3/14 – 3/18, there is a Balsamic Moon which will be huge in bringing forth our shadows to look at- or manifest unconsciously. Combine that with a Solar Eclipse at last Full Moon and at New Moon 3/18 and a lot of erratic and emotionally charged release can occur. In fact, I heartily recommend release as the repression of this charged energy could produce psychic short-circuiting of your inner electric body flow, especially if you are Uranian (Sun/Moon/Ascendant strongly aspecting Uranus or Aquarian).

Sun in Aries inspires the spring and new life, and by 3/20 we can sail into our spring, begin the planting, smell the flowers, and especially, dream the season into becoming. The importance of dreaming is shown by that Pisces Lunation, Mercury and Uranus and by that Saturn conjunct Neptune aspect that is rare and waning away.

Uranus in conjunction with the North Node during March has brought forth lots of surprises and power surges that will continue to lay out into April, then fade away This is the source of all that bio-electric energy and these surprising developments in our lies. Mars in Aquarius until 4/6 adds to this. Mars is conjunct Chiron now which can radically stimulate healing or at least light up the awareness of course and action to be taken toward healing. Expect immediate change and in a moment’s flash, we can move on from old wounds and illnesses to create and nourish a new light body. This becomes more potent later in the year as Chiron conjunct’s Neptune for the first time in our lives. Miracles do happen.

Mars enters Pisces on 4/6, which means the action of Mars and Aries focuses thru compassion, emotion, depth; and often conflicted choice or dissolving addictions and attaining spontaneous release into the new.

Mercury comes our of retrograde to allow for a lengthy passage into linking the subconscious with intent of spirit.

By the Full Moon of 4/2, we can expect that our dreamseeds have taken psychic root, and most of us will be living moment to moment with promise of spring and our personal kaleidoscope of living to be prevalent.

Venus is always a major concern for us, as she regards money, love, success, and societal issues- how we invite others into our lives and share space. She will be flirting and gliding her way thru Taurus, grounding new relations and opportunities during this lunar month. The flirting and gliding continues as she enters Gemini 4/12, denoting duality and a butterfly-like dancing flight during mid-spring; observed, never caught.

Jupiter begins juggling his four-month retrograde in Sagittarius on 4/8, which can relate to large expansive plans toward travel and spirituality coupled with a search for internal truth thru external interaction. Some of us less disposed to firey stimulation and endless possibilities for freedom’s expression may find this aspect to be a lot to handle, perhaps biting off more than we can chew or taking on too much at a time.

As Jupiter and Pluto goes Retrograde (Pluto on 4/1), Saturn comes out on 4/18 which can be of great relief to those of us who are interested in structure, legal issues, and the material plane. During this month, Jupiter trines Saturn which is a fairly rare and positive aspect of balance- give and take, protection and generosity, getting fired up, moving energy and embellishing what you have already attained. This aspect and the past couple of weeks are especially auspicious generally for Fire Signs. But, as both planets are stationary, not moving as seen from the Earth, it may appear that little is moving even as your deck is being reshuffled and options are being laid out in front of you.

Pluto begins its’ yearly 5 month long retrograde on 4/1. Often, people have a hard time with the stationary portion of Pluto’s transit. In English, that means that this planet slows down to a stop twice a year for a few weeks at a time. The energy at these points is like looking at a promise a feeling the energies of transformation and movement in the air, while a waiting pattern is occurring that is hard to sit with. It is like the calm eye of the storm. Those most affected of course are the Plutonians, those with strong Scorpio or Pluto at a key place. Most Scorpions thrive on intensity. It’s the rest of us that have a hard tome calmly holding on to a full house or waiting for our chance to bluff and evolve. With Pluto in the end of Sagittarius until next January, we can expect the truth to be revealed in our personal and political lives. An interesting pattern to observe the culmination of, this is the end of a 15 year cycle, over early next year.

The presence of all that Aquarius indicates weaving high minded idealism and mental/social activation thr groups and futuristic projections. Sometimes we are led to believe that dreaming is not a form of doing but a time wasting and indulgent activity. But these times on the planet, when used wisely, can result in dreaming into existence a whole new world and that is how we are re -seeding the spring with our intentions.

Welcome to the next chapter of Karmic unfoldment and self-understanding called your life. As the Sun enters Pisces around nitefall of 2/18, (pst) we will experience a kaleidoscope of awakwening activity, and your own role and path in that unfoldment has a lot to do with the seeds you have already sown and playing out choices made. But this is a time of dreaming, and each moment has a new seed of potential , and this is the time to fertilize the spring ‘s growth thru insight, awareness, and composting what we have already learned. Take time for reflection and meditation this lunar month and notice the flowers . Remember that energy fuels intention as surely as rain waters all of these flowers into being. What are your dreamseeds?

But this Lunar month, like many before it, actually begins at the end of the last sign, Aquarius, with 5 planets in Aquarius which then pour into Pisces by the next day 2/18). Within a day after the New Moon, both Sun and Moon shift into Pisces joining Uranus, Venus, and Retrograde Mercury in this watery sign of composting karma. So this is a time of dreaming, and this dreaming will magnetize into the potential fires of Spring. This occurs, along with a Solar Eclipse and Astrological new year March 19th.

That’s another story, so stay tuned for next month’s column.

As the presence of Sun at the end of Aquarius sets the tone for this lunation, friends and often radical ideas will stimulate much potential for seeing to the unfoldment of long awaited plans and ideas. There is always the chance for dissipation which could occur by an imbalance of talking and walking that talk. AS little discussion can fuel accomplishment, a lot of talking can fuel a lot of talking. Of course, for water signs like Cancer Pisces Scorpio, it will be full speed ahead but for the rest, it could be a mixed bag with a potential for dissolving your efforts unless backed up by a strong vision and effort.

Mercury entered Pisces early this calendar month, so its long presence in Pisces including the retrograde could be dissolving and lacking in focus. It’s also the stuff that allows dreams to come true, as there is also no resistance from earth plane. This is a great opportunity for mental and emotional cleansing, release from old ideas and concepts. And stimulates the healthy benefits of meditation and visualization. Insight is your birthright.

(in present western society, we culturally embrace a faulty and dangerous concept that rationality and intellect is somehow superior or preferred to emotions and intuition. This facility keeps us focused into precise timing but limits imagination and insight. The periodic retrograde of Mercury can release us from the tyrannical domination of the rational mind, which in fact by its’ imbalanced dominion can do more harm than good, as it has on the planet and socially any time the heart and mind are disconnected. How many of us are conflicted by the diversity of the voices of heart and mind, even in our selves? Mercury is in the intuitive and non-rational sign Pisces from 2/2-4/11, and retrograde from 2/26-3/19, so for this and many other factors, you can expect the unexpected and that old ideas and solutions may no longer work. Eureka solutions.

Mars entering Aquarius on 2/25 adds to the movement towards social change, even in your personal life.

There is also a Lunar Eclipse this month, on 3/3 at 3:17 pm pst, meaning not visible from this side of the globe. This eclipse occurs under a full moon in Virgo, as Lunar Eclipses only occur at the peak of full moon. The Moon in Virgo at the peak implies that all of this creative dreaming produces potential fruit at this time and after thru a feeling of the satisfaction of accomplishment. %This is a great time for beginning your creative doings for the year, such as gardeni9ng, earth works, a new job or livelihood, and so on. This is a mixed message for mental matters as Moon in Virgo represents a mentalization of feeling, but it’s guiding planet Mercury is in a very intuitive phase so focused mind and feeling is projected thru the lens of intuition. As the Sun conjuncts Uranus during this eclipse, expect solutions and developments to occur out of the blue and unexpectedly, and that is also a time that logjams of our lives may move without warning. Expect this unexpected surprises to continue until at least the end of the lunar month on 3/19, which is a Solar Eclipse. A Solar and Lunar Eclipses are always paired, two weeks apart. In other Astrological news, Venus enters Aries on 2/27. Energizing love and social life with spontaneous fire and sparking the dating/mating attraction cycle known as the Rites of Spring.

As in the late Summer, Saturn (now retrograde) is in opposition with Neptune 2/19-3/9, and again in summer). For those of us who have learned that we are not fully in charge of our own natures and timing, who have let go of the concept of being in charge of all the variables, this can be a stellar time for personal unfoldment. For those of us who wish to micromanage our cosmic destinies, things could become more difficult with timing and impressions or assumptions being off. URGENT – Distance Healing / Manifestation request

Hi guys,

Sorry I'm completely new to tribe and normally wouldn't ask for healing but I'm desperate. I'm a reiki level III practitioner
but going through an enormous trial at the moment. I really need assistance in purging a karmic bond that has trawled me
through intense personal, financial and now legal difficulties, I'm the target of constant harassment by an ex that just
won't leave me alone. She's threatened to kill me on several occasions and is now using the police to cause further harm
and damage to me and my reputation.

I ask all of you to please help me in these matters, I would be very greatfull and return the favour once my head clears and
my ability returns again.

Any advice would be much appreciated as well.

Astrology For Aquarian Times, 2007: Soli-Lunar Astrology thru Mark S. McNutt

Soli Lunar Astrology returns us to the original and ancient template of using the seasons, denoted by the Sun sings, coupled with the lunations of the Moon. This balances the masculine and feminine dance of co-creative dance of the heavens in an ever-spiraling kaleidoscope of will and emotion. There are twelve signs a year, three each in the four seasons, and these represent the qualities of the four elements and the solar seasonal flow in the northern hemisphere. Then there are 13 and 1/3 lunar cycles per year, which embodies the irrational and creative cycles of the Moon, emotion, fluctuation, change, and magick that balances the order of the universe with cycles of change. The New Moon always begins the outpouring if the emotions and direction that the planets dance thru as seen from the Earth, and order is always countered with non-linear circles. While Astrology has for a long time sought to explain the circle to the linear aspect of ourselves that seek order and familiarity, the creativity of what unfolds has to do as much with the mystery of the indefinable that goes beyond logic and is the soulmate thereof.

As the New Moon occurs this month on the evening of 1/18, with Sun and Moon in Capricorn, then going into Aquarius, we find ourselves tying together loose ends of organization and communications that support our ideals, beliefs, and friendships.
The New Moon itself is in Capricorn, conjunct Mercury. Then all three immediately enter Aquarius with the Sun being the last on 1/20. These 3 together are great for focalizing and completing communications. Also, Venus conjuncts Neptune this same week which stimulates pleasure, ideals beliefs, and social life with friends. It can be a dancing together of allowing creative dreams to flow and manifest.
Because the end of Capricorn is implied here, a bridge can occur between dreaming and doing after long delays. This also may describe the agenda of the first 100 hours of Congress meeting this week.
By 1/20, there are 5 planets passing thru Aquarius, sign of friends, creative dreaming, progressive or unusual ideas and their implementation, and highly creative idealism that transforms the social structure. This Lunar month will be enlivened by these things and continues until the next Lunation on 2/18.
By the way, in case you ever wondered about Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year always begins as the New Moon occurs in Aquarius. When the January New Moon is late in Capricorn, but not in Aquarius, the New Year begins late, that is, late in Aquarius. This is the case with the Year of the Boar beginning 2/18 and not before. It is a Soli=Lunar Calendar like many others.

In other news, Mars is in Capricorn1/17-2/26, providing great motivation for personal accomplishment, an anchor of doing during these dreamy wintry times. Take action on your ideals!
We can be grateful that the aggressive and emotional triple conjunction of Pluto and Mars, joined by the Moon, that occurred 1/11-18, is now over. Kiss and make up and remember who your friends are.
Jupiter is moving rapidly thru its own sign Sagittarius, providing a background of expansion, reaching out, and creating opportunities for travel, truth, and spiritual; questing. Jupiter squares Uranus 1/15-30, which can bring many unforeseen results. Too many irons in the fire, biting off more than you can chew, herding cats, or even the category of unforeseen sudden opportunities, unexpected and unpredictable changes, and breakthroughs of Illumination. This is more pronounce3d for mutable signs which are Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, and Gemini. The essay question may be: which 2 roads to pursue, which diverse and contradictory multiple paths to follow. A singular focused path is not a likely option, contradiction rules.
Saturn continues its retrograde in Leo, showing us both the work and play that is yet undone. What have we neglected to do, and what is yet to be achieved? Pluto adds its’ edginess to the equation, a necessary rebellion perhaps to being denigrated by scientists invested in the limiting half knowledge of the logical mind. It is a binary planet with its’ Moon, Charon.
Neptune’s dreaminess informs the whole month of Aquarius, strongest generally thru the conjunction with Venus 1/15-21, and middle with the Sun (first week of February(.
The Full Moon which begins 2/2 and proceeds for a few days after is likely to clarify path and focalize all of those previously mentioned ideas and irons in the fire. So, the second half of the Lunar month draws a lot of loose ends together in surprising ways.
Speaking of surprises, expect the unexpected with love and social life as your karma unfolds itself during Venus conjunct Uranus, the first week of February.
This Lunar month ends 2/18 with Chinese New Year plus a retrograde Mercury. Many mentally adept (aka “Mercurial”) people have a hard time with the inverting and intuiting of the rational mind. Retrograde Mercury occurs three times a year, this one being 2/14-3/7, when mental focus is often lost- along with communications, documents, checks, and computer hard drives. It is interesting that computers, which are largely invented and programmed by people who don’t believe in Astrology, still tend to predictably react to
Seemingly invalid Astrological influences. This is because Astrology, the humyn brain, and computers all respond to electromagnetic pulses. So, get it done before Valentine’s Day!

Single Parent Tribal Family Seeks Community!

Mother of two... Co-creator of much... Seeking space to share, learn, grow, and commune in. I'm open to any location as long as there are no alterior motives, good people around, and the ability to get around, and sustain myself. I love the unknown and am not sure where I am being guided but I am definitely being driven somewhere other than where I am at this moment.

My Children are chill, clean, respectful, and in tune. My son is nine, my daughter is 7 weeks.

My Son and I have travelled throughout Southern Africa, and lived from our own place in Cape Town... to backpackers... to communal farms in the last three years. Including Vipassana & Permaculture... Not to mention for over a year of that I sold my creations at festivals... He has met all walks of life and as long as you are a good person with good intent I doubt he will be shocked by you or anything that you do. On top of that he is in school all day five days a week... He listens well and learns quickly.

My Daughter so far is a very peacfeul curious little wonder who likes to rest and listen to Reggae... Her trumpet only sounds when hungry or in need of a diaper change... which I attend to very quickly. If I want her to go to sleep I must turn the music up... I guess I channeled the perfect child after all.

We are originally from New Orleans but currently hail from San Francisco... Been travelling in Africa for three years.

I'm a mature individual (30 Pisces/Fire Dragon/Yellow Magnetic Sun) that thrives on positive communication... Peace... Compassion. I have little space for drama as I find it terribly unecessary when you have grown to a degree where you love yourself and are at peace with your direction in life. Group meditation, & or yoga are a plus... I am not materialistic, I live simply and I like my free time... I eat organic, and vegan though you can do whatever you like I am not judgemental or self righteous.

If you are one to tell people what they should be doing with there lives I have already done it... Had the convertible, the suit, the plastic, and the loft. Owned the Cafe... Organized the Events... Performed on the Stage...I have done it. So despite what life you think I should have you must be willing to accept the life I want for myself...

People say.. a woman with two kids she should have her own place and be doing whatever to provide that... So I trade my time with my children to provide what is acceptable by a society at the cost of letting other people raise them all for what? More than we need... because it is what: it is acceptable to mainstream society. No thanks I would like to find a nice room no bigger than our hut in Africa was... in a cool area with some cool people... and be as available for them as possible have the time to do my art healing and creations... and be able to take the little one to work with me. Thats the choice I have made and I think that is no reason to judge...

I am an artist on the path wanting to give as much time as possible to my children & trying to learn as much as I can so that the next time I embark on the path I have gotten a few things out of the way.. I want to live by my passions and if it means I have less oh well. As I told the tribe in Africa... When I had everything I had nothing and now that I have nothing I have everything... No matter what I will always take care of myself and my responsibilities... I plan to add nutrition and healing to the Vast array of my capabilities...

I do have a job that I can take anywhere. Though I will need an internet connection for that, unless I can do work exchange or teaching children... and I am also quite willing to do any kind of work needed towards sustainability.

Oh, dear friends, how can I express the wonder that was the 13th Co-Creation Fest in mere human English? So much love and enlightenment, a community of beautiful souls coming together with the spirits of the land, fairies and nymph energy, elementals, ancestors, guides, angels, deities.... As the weekend went on, more and more personal power, love, and connection burned in each particpants' eyes as people (about 45 of us) put forth their own highest vibrations and unique energies to create and activating intermingling of such passion, presence, and healing, feeling it swirl around the world in these changing times, touching hearts so deeply...
As conscious channel for and representative of the Spirit of the land and the newly formed and ever-increasing presence of the nymph spirit unique to a magic spring at YewWood, every moment I found myself guided in action and motivation, embodying Lord Shiva for the firewalk, fairies for the invocation, healing loving Pele when a devotee was in need of lovng Earth mama energy.... Oh, the power we can radiate when we fully place ourselves in the service of powers Higher! Oh, the beauty that can be cultivated when loving beings come together in co-creation in the highest good of all beings! We are here, at the threshhold of the new era, bridging the gap between the dimensions with conscious uplifting gatherings demonstrating to All the new world order we wish to create!
Now, the satiated land, content, reforms itself to maintain the vibration frequency shift to higher dimensions, bringing its human inhabitants with it... In my little vacation cabin in the woods, the tucked away sylvan third eye of the land, a gentle but strong loving wizard conjures his magic on all levels, bringing new semi-permanent (but always in flux) human community, offering a romantic outlet for our young nymph (turning into a party girl, as many good joyful nymphs are and these days in an urban-centered society, she is much needed as a dimension bridger and shifter)...

Pan according to Mark S. McNutt

Pan is the green energy of creative growth and spring, the exuberance and joy in that creation. The trees and alot of flowers grow tall erect, and reach for the light thru the energy of Pan. Pan means "the all". He doesn't represent anything, He lives it. He is not an intellectual quality. He is the male creative force and joy of the universe. His gift has been minimalized thru a focus into the male sexual aspect, ie, the erect phallus, which of itself is a wonderful form of celebration and joy but misleading in being a means to an end. The flowers and trees cannot grow without finding joy in that activity, and the part that is most true is that Pan does not apologize for His exuberance. But it's more like a six year old boy in full expression of living than a manipulative identification with male domination or erection. Pan is the wildness of nature and being with your own nature. Men celebrate this in a good way by feeling good about their creativity and life-giving and honoring urges. But Pan is an invitation, not a demand.
For a womyn, Pan energy can be celebrated either as the Divine Consort of the Goddess, the Life affirming urges of nature to create and manifest abundantly, and in joyous celebration. Pan is an invitation, not a demand or condition. But if you take on the Pan shrine, be prepared to celebrate his mischevious and joyous playfulness, which is unapologetic and full. He will annihilate your shyness about asking for what you desire and being active and yang about getting it. He will totally offer to seduce you over and over into lascivious and joyous celebration of earth-life. He is not for the shy or celibate. So you are warned. Invite the Stag and he will offer you further invitations, at the very least to become one with nature and your nature. But he does not demand, need sacrifice, or require anything other than a positive and enthusiastic attitude in his endeavors, and he is quite helpful in the garden, the forests, and the wild places. He likes flutes (especially made from elder) and drums. He dislikes metal and artifical objex, so don't use a shovel, etc, in creating a shrine in his honor.
Most men and alot of womyn are only familiar with the sexual aspect of his nature, the second chakra. When I was asked to invoke Pan for Fairy Congress, I asked to be shown other aspects as well. One that he showed me was the seventh chakra was exemplified in the gentle caress of the high winds on the tops of trees, for example.
Cedar trees are especially sacred to Pan.

Aerious/YewWood's Creation Festival (in 2006, August 11-13)

I remember my first Creation Fest so clearly.... I was travelling around the NW and randomly got offered a ride to anywhere in Oregon, so I chose to travel to YewWood for the first time, serendipitously landing there three days before the 2003 Creation Fest, in time to connect with the land and a few earlybirds and establish myself as a work-trader before the transformation began. It was such a magical weekend for me, I was still discovering the awesome energies of the West Coast, magic and shamanic communities, meeting other people that talked to plants! I really bonded with other participants and felt so much change rising inside myself, and felt embraced by the support around me. It is a much more intimate gathering than some of the huge amazing events poppin in Oregon and beyond... More focused on connecting with the land than many, with the powerful Spirits there, with one's own Self. I love the big gatherings, too, so much, but in this smaller setting, there can be more opportunity to all come together and be beyond elitism, and for individuals to offer their own energies on the spur of the moment.
The Firewalk is of course a pivotal part of the experience. Ouapiti's elder wisdom (check out www.hummingbirdremedies.com for her amazing transcendental flower essences, including ayahuasca and peyote!) always adds so much, and Mark & MaryGold, the full-time inhabitants and caretakers, lovingly guiding the whole process. The shrines on the land feed off the visitors, and often offer their own gifts to revelers... I love walking through the woods there at night, that is the only time I personally have seen the myseterious lights that drift through the air, though my little 5-year-old friend Kiva saw "glittery sparkles" one sunny morning when I was with her, invisible to my eyes. This powerful land, that can rearrange the universe to bring highest energies to it when it desires, and keep people at bay when it is gathering energy amongst itself and the other realms.

Soli-Lunar Astrology for the month of Cancer New Moon 6/25-7/23/06

The New Moon is always at the heart of planning as this is the time when the cycle is renewed and we are able to refresh our intentions and visions before taking appropriate actions.
This particular New Moon is special in that Cancer is “ruled by” or has a strong affinity with the Moon and all that is considered regarding emotional introspection and how we feel amongst our changes .
Under the Soli-Lunar Cancer month, each changing of the Moon sign (and there are at least 12 of 3 1/3 days) brings forth heightened feelings regarding these matters. For example, a Moon in Leo heightens the area of fun and games, pleasure and amusements. By the way, the main reason that newspaper horoscope predictions are so hit and miss is because they are based on the general transits of the planets thru signs and their relations to other signs, but not exact aspects, which are more precise and therefore personal. (Rob Bresny’s popular Real Astrology column is based more on the general psychology of cheerleading each sign to manifest their highest potential and not transits at all).
Besides the Sun and Moon, the other planets further define the flow of planetary energy upon us humyns and other souls here on Earth.
Mercury is stationary now and begins one of three yearly retrogrades on 7/5 until 7/29. Many people are aware of the effects of Mercury retrograde-
Communication breakdown, checks being lost in transit, non-cooperative computers and other machinery, misunderstandings, delays, and “fog brain” (diffused mental energy).This is strongest amongst the Mercury ruled signs of Virgo and Gemini, but strongly applies to anyone who likes to make plans with others and carry them out in a 3D time oriented world. The more you are involved in a 3 dimensional world, the more this affects the flow. Why is this? Because Mercury governs the areas of rational mind, thought, and communication, so Mercury retrograde is a backwards spin to alleviate mental stress thru a natural unwind, a necessary exhale, and some of us still measure worth thru what is produced or accomplish from the limiting and often judgmental sphere of the rational mind. We seek “forward” when recapitulation, regrouping, re-assessment, meditation, feelings, and exhaling are also part of the plan for integration of life’s purpose.
Unbridled growth is more of a symptom of disease, like Cancer (not to be confused with the sign). How many times have we heard our so called president (a Cancer, by the way) speak of the need to “grow the economy”? Yet this attitude of expanding growth at all costs bankrupts the health of the planet and all of her inhabitants. In short, growth without reflection or integration results in a cancerous all consuming condition.
So, retrogrades, especially that of Mercury, are the necessary exhale and readjustment. This can be a great time for psychic , intuitive, and integrative mental pursuits thru the right brain focus of intuition, dream work, visioning, and art. It is not conducive for most for gain thru mental cleverness.
Almost one fifth of us were born under Mercury retrograde, and we have often been accused of ADD and general spaciness. For us, our minds become very focused at this time but we still live in a world where our intellectual clarity and insight has to be communicated to those who are challenged at this time.
Venus is in Gemini until 7/19, which, along with Mars in Leo, (until 7/23) is wonderful for social interplay in the summer sun. But expect no staying power here, and lots of changes in plans. In short, whatever you thought you might be doing or committing to is not necessarily real. Change is in the air and many surprises are in store in the first half of the month.
Jupiter and Saturn continue the square dance that was mentioned in last month’s column. Jupiter is retrograde in Scorpio until 7/5, which means that both Mercury and Jupiter will be stationary or not moving for a few days on either side of the stationary time. I consider a stationary to be stronger in effect than a retrograde, the energy being like a photograph rather than a movie. I often hear things like “Mercury comes out of retrograde at 7 pm, so tonite I can move forward on such and such”. The moment that the planet comes our of retrograde, the backsliding effect ends, but the momentum is not there either. You may still feel as if your psychic car is stuck in neutral, which it is. The effects of the retrograde only fully end once the planet surpasses its’ original retrograde start point, which can be a week for Mercury and a few month for most of the outer planets.
Jupiter in Scorpio, while not while not unfortunate, brings forth emotional intensity and extreme changes in life, death, and transformation. The uncomfortable and contradictory square with Saturn in Leo over the last few weeks will soon end, and this also is over (until Fall) in early July. This implies that liberation and repression have been an uncomfortable duality (taking on many personal forms), and that we are beginning to work thru a series of important commitments and life challenges. This is a release from stress of contradiction. Saturn in Leo implies working harder for your fun, creativity, and children, and this is moving to a more positive place now. All that nose grinding is likely to begin paying off, hopefully along with greater insight gained. Indeed, Saturn soon surpasses the start of last Fall’s retrograde point, implying that we can now move forward with our plans and commitments.
But the outer transpersonal planets continue their retrogrades, including Chiron. This has different meanings for everyone depending on your particular chart. A summary is that we are looking at our recent cultural past and unraveling and reweaving the communal fabric from a place of revisioning. All of that visioning and community building are like seeds that are planted in the summer sun that can be expected to blossom and bear fruit in the fall when these come out of retrograde.
The Lunar Nodes, backwards moving destiny lines of Karma and Dharma. Have slipped into Pisces from Aries and gone across the Astrological zero point recently. This implies that our group Karma and focus moves from the personal into the realm of compassion and sacrifice for the greater good, and this cycle continues now for the next 19 months (The greater cycle being 19 years).
After the Lunar Month of emotion and family, we move into the high summer energy of Leo for Sun and fun beginning 7/23. In fact, if you enjoy the concept of the Blue Moon, there are two lunation’s in Leo. Stay tuned for next month’s column to see how this unfolds.

Hecate's feline spirit

MaryGold, matriarch of Aerious/YewWood, rescued a three-week-old kitten taken from its mother too early, being ganged up on by its forlorn brothers and sisters. Little kitty showed lots of spark, but quickly weakened over the first day with lack of proper baby kitty food (hard to obtain in the boondocks there) until we prepared to say good-bye and usher her spirit to another realm. I felt called to place her tiny, sick little body on Hecate (old Greek triple Goddess of the night, and death and rebirth, among other things) shrine. Aftr a little while I placed the limp little fuzzball back in her box and went to take a quick solar shower. When I can back she was energized and soon was running all over again! I named her Hecate, maybe it was only a coincidence, but it seemed pretty powerful, now she's strong and growing into a well-adjusted little being! much love to this seemingly destined new addition to the YewWood family...

awakening the land, sparkling shrines

This past weekend brought our Summer Solstice gathering, a mellow group of folks who helped warm the land with human energy. The shrines finally asked to be awakened, adorned with new power objects to charge the portals and healing forces, tapping this sacred land further into the global and universal webs of light, alowing the energies that have been cleansed and composted through the months of rain and peace to shine their transformed light in a new way. Much as I, freshly returned from open-ended travels across the oceans, now see my world with new eyes, relating to everything around me in an evolved way.
We did a magical circuit of the shrines, bringing offerings of stones, song, energies... A Shiva chant pounded through at Shiva/fire shrine, making His presence known at this metamorphosing portal where mortals walk on fire, the winter's waters of destruction pulling down the old shrine to clear the way for a new manifestation. An intentional group charging of a selenite pyramid helped activate water shrine, and tightened the bond between earth and sky at this flowy vortex. Pan shrine was playful and satyr-fied as always, and we welcomed our new young nymph spirit of Sylvestin Spring into the social world. Air shrine ushered in breath and sacred sound and rest after much energy had been channelled to these magic spaces. Much gratitude for the existence of this charged, protected parcel of Earth, may its beautiful energy touch the rest of the world in these times of change.....

Astrological Update for end May, June 2006
Soli-Lunar Astrology for Gemini New Moon

In this column, we follow the transits of the planets beginning with the New Moon.
There are 13 or 14 New Moons in a year, not 12, so there will be the same number of these columns as we follow a soul based, feeling oriented, and more natural calendar regarding our earthly cycles (not oriented toward the archaic and awkward calendar that has confused things since the Romans imposed it on this world long ago).

Transits for 5/26-6/25

We begin with a New Moon in Gemini, which is the sign of communication, education, people, and ideas. It’s also a sign of contradiction, so we can expect contradictory behaviors, decisions, and communications in the coming month. Mercury will be in Gemini (but not conjunct Sun or Moon) and it will also square Uranus. This implies the potential for unpredictable scattering of energy that is akin to herding cats, and plans that are made during this time will be highly idealist and innovative, but fluffy in outcome and perhaps bearing little fruit. In my last column, I mentioned the powerful potential for profound change that would move thru during mid-May. So, if you didn’t initiate during that time, it may become harder to focus and carry thru at this time (especially if strong in Virgo or Pisces, i.e., Sun. Moon. Rising). If you were born under the Gemini influence (or other air signs) this flutter-by energy could seem like a breath of fresh summer air, full of ideas and potential, and some of us thrive on that! There is not much support for the earth signs here, at least until Venus enters Taurus on May 30th, then a greater commitment and beauty can ensue. In fact, as this lunation describes so much variety, a survey of all of our greatest hits and some of our fears will be passing in front of our eyes for us to let go of or address. But Venus in Taurus in combination with this "diffuse cornucopia" can give direction thru social life, pleasures, and beauty. Take advantage of this early and often.
As this month is such a mixed bag of aspects with little focus early on, the expression and energy will be different for each individual, and hard to describe in a comprehensive manner that will ring true for us all. There are a few coalescing aspects coming up in June that are decisive and describable. As Venus transits thru Taurus 5/30-6/24, it moves into alignment with Jupiter and Saturn (conjunct) Mars, forming a T square, which is usually stressful for most. Jupiter is retrograde in Scorpio having to do with an abundance of transformation, emotion, and strong life passages. This journey of Jupiter's is year long. Saturn in Leo has the potentially confusing contradiction of serious commitment and fun and sometimes can constrict the joy of this sign. Mars joins Saturn in Leo on 6/2, and these are in conjunction or similar position in the middle of the month. This can be excellent for providing motivation and drive toward pleasure, love, and identifying your own desires in order to take action.
While this can be a positive force toward accomplishment, Venus and Jupiter both pull on this, along with the Moon at various points, as well as Neptune later in July. Since Jupiter has to do with abundance and Venus with pleasure, beauty, finance, it is easy to go overboard, over-indulge, over spend, or scatter energy thru either determination or indulgence. For those who don’t desire drama in their personal lives, I advise a more conservative approach without fixed expectations. To the rest of us, the contradictions found in the fixed polarity of this time will certainly gives us a lot to be dramatic about. Certainly, do not try to stop the mountain from moving, the flood from occurring, or your lover from leaving thru sheer determination as this is where the conflict arises. For those of us who enjoy the Chinese paradigm of “may be good, May be bad” choices and results, we can have the times of our lives. Beyond this, the effects will be very individualized with lots of stories to unfold. May we live in interesting times!
The retrograde of Jupiter will slow to a stop July, so whatever is undone in June is redone and integrated in the hot summer sun.
The dust settles only after the Summer Solstice (Wed. 6/21 5:46 am pdt), which is also the last few days of the Moon cycle. This implies introversion and souls searching 6/21-5 even as the summer sun is stimulating in joyful communion- again in contrast. In fact, the solstice day is one in which the Moon aligns again into a T-square with Jupiter and Saturn. Many of the emotional aspects brought up by the cacophony of contradictory planetary voices will be resolved during the next lunation, so stay tuned.
Also of note is the retrograde of Uranus and Neptune. Retrogrades are the apparent backward motions of planets as seen from Earth. The outer planets do this for 5 months out of the year, and stationary or not moving for a few weeks on either side of that. The stationary times are more significant than the retrogrades are, as a laser beam is to light.
Neptune begins its yearly retrograde 5/23,implying more of what was stated at the beginning of this column regarding great ideas dissolving into committees, discussion groups, and frustrating action. Similarly, Uranus retrograde beginning 6/19 could dissolve and diffuse the group vision into many diverse and divergent pathways. For some, this can also provided serendipitous openings. These are not dire aspects, but they do have the potential for “following thru with the plan”, whatever it was.
Speaking of diffusion, there are endless aspects to describe for the coming month, but again each individual will experience them differently. Clear intention helps.

Astrological Update for May 2006
(Soli Lunar New Moon in Taurus beginning April 27th)

The dance of the planets continues! Even when we deny or ignore their influences, we find that our magnetism and watery bodies continue to draw influences from our immediate environment and the subtle influences of the cosmos beyond. The microcosm of our selves reflects the macrocosm.
As this eclipse month ends, a little known fault near Salem OR gives a shudder as if to say, ”Yes!” even Gaia, the world Spirit herself, is aware of the alignment of Sun and Moon.
The new moon defines the area of focus for the month, which then unfolds in potential for the first two weeks and then releases that potential (as defined by the full moon) over the following two weeks. All the while, the other 8 planets continue in their spiral dance to unfold our personal and planetary journey.
This new moon begins 4/27 at 12:44 pm PDT (West Coast US time) with Sun and Moon in Taurus. Taurus has to do with the Earth and Her resources, physical plane, body awareness, material goods, land, wealth, and all that is tangible and measurable, as well as the artistic and beautiful. It is no coincidence that the ancients observed the connection between this earth sign and the joy of the Earth’s creation through flowers and growth of all that is green.
Energy radiates from the middle of the fixed signs outward. That is, midseason is the embodiment of the season. Spring, is described best by Beltane (the good time) and the flowing propagation of the Earth, than the firey newness of Aries. Summer, is described best by the midseason fires of Leo and Lammas in August than by the watery homebody sign of Cancer. Fall is described best by the intense and watery mystery of Scorpio and Samhain than by the balance of airy Libra. Winter begins with Capricorn but the airy potential of Aquarius and Imbolc speaks of the return of light, social life, and the rekindling new ideas.
So, this Taurean mid-season time, is the time for planting and being with nature, and especially for being true to our natures! The more we embrace what is natural for our body and being during this time, the more we manifest what is natural and healthy for us. Be aware of the abundance concerning our physical bodies and the environment, acquisition of goods and structures, the planting and the cultivation of gardens, and the magickal connection with nature. Garden, build, go for walks, and spend as much time as possible at the ultimate website...TheNaturalWorld.net.
The full moon on 5/13 will bring forth a tidal wave of emotions and intense passions to a peak that is very powerful for moving energy; Jupiter and Uranus add to this. Ground yourself and ride the wave, trusting your emotions and knowing that your mission will have tangible results in May and beyond.
Beginning the evening of 5/20, the Sun will move into the airy sign Gemini, bringing intellect and fanciful wings for networking the new ideas that are born of the strong roots available now. The plant is only as strong as its’ roots, so focus before 5/20 on growing and nourishing whatever those roots are. Otherwise, those plants (that is, your ideas and strategy) may become top heavy from too much talk and not enough walk. Don't let your focus dissipate and dry out, water your emotions heavily in mid month.
Jupiter and Uranus are in the water signs of Scorpio and Pisces respectively, and are in trine, a favorable aspect, all month. This is excellent for new ideas and friendships, and creativity coming out of the blue with mostly positive and highly predictable results. We can expect old friends to arrive or contact us over the airwaves from far away places. As well, we can expect extended generosity to unexpectedly be returned. Karma is its’ own reward or dilemma, as we reap what we sow in a surprising manner.
Spontaneous travel is highly encouraged, as are serendipitous changes of plan. Endeavor to do, think or plan something that is original. It’s time, in the second half of month, to climb out of the box of self-limiting choices! The dreaminess of Neptune in Aquarius further encourages this, even as it slows down to begin its’ yearly retrograde (5/23). This implies "Get going!" on your new activities before 5/20, as the end of the month is best used for herding all of the cats that you’ve spontaneously decided to take on. The end of the month energy is very mental and diffused, but air signs love that playing field.
Mars in Cancer denotes aggressive nurturing of home and family situations, and feelings which suddenly come to the forefront, especially under that time of the “visible full moon” in mid month, which dissolves into more mental and social juggling around 5/20. A great shift occurs from 5/12-20. Be flexible and creative. Explore your feelings and the mind will follow.
Expect love and relations to be impulsive and immediate but not necessarily lasting. Even as you are building new bridges, exploring deep feelings and attachments, and feeling out what you value most, it changes again with the next lunation at the end of the month; so remember what grounds and roots you and return there.

Regarding April, 06

Soli-Lunar updates, following the unfolding of the year’s potential one lunar month at a time.
This month’s lunation begins with a Solar Eclipse on 3/29 at 2:15 am pst. While not visible on this side of the globe (as it’s nighttime), a Solar Eclipse is always powerful, as are the days before, when the emotional energy is building, and the days after, when there is a release into the new. There is usually a dark emotional aura in the air under the balsamic dark moon right before a Solar Eclipse that peaks and releases under the New Moon (always the same moment as the eclipse’s peak). The dynamic is that the gravitational pull of the Sun and Moon and Earth together pull on the water and electricity of our bodies, creating and releasing a lot of “Num”, Ki, or stored energy. (Num is a term for dynamic energy of any extreme). Eclipse times align powerful forces of emotion and creativity, but are difficult to harness and can be overwhelming (especially if they occur right around your birthday or even the exact the opposite time of the year).
Traditionally, eclipses predicted the downfall of rulers and it was a central part of the court astrologer’s job to anticipate any eclipse that would be influential in the ruler’s horoscope. For us, living as rulers of our own lives and destinies, these eclipses are a somewhat uncomfortable and dramatic release into the new. They can also move lots of stuck or atrophied energy and can be welcoming to those who appreciate change.
As this is the first New Moon of the zodiacal year, (Sun and Moon in Aries), there will be an intense and sudden shift into Spring, with spontaneous and immediate resolution of setting sudden and unexpected plans into motion.
But Aries is impulsive and unpredictable, maybe also unreliable, and to attempt to control the fiery release of all of this energy may be a little like herding cats. There may be frustration resulting from personal will being thwarted, also sudden explosions, tempers flaring, arguments, and some impulsive decisions that could be regretted later. It’s fairly auspicious for fire sign people but more frustrating for earth signs especially Capricorn, and very emotional for water signs, especially Cancer. The water signs have a more positive flow during the middle of the month.
Pluto also begins it’s 5 month retrograde 3/29, meaning it appears to move backwards from earthly view. During it’s stationary times (mid March to mid April and again late August to early September) there is an aura of great change in the air which is bathed in anticipation, but with little substantial progress made until the eclipse moves your mountains. And sometimes the transformation provides travel and freedom opportunities while for some others, this aspect can bring forth an abundance of work to be accomplished.
Mercury is coming out of retrograde, which means the mental fog and derailed communications should begin to come together and move forward. Since Mercury is in Pisces, intuition and emotion are key to successful communicating and timing.
At the end of March, Venus is in conjunction with Neptune in Aquarius. This is great for expanding dreams of community through positive and idealistic social interaction. In fact, this is a surprisingly positive time for moving forward with your social agenda, widening circles, sharing dreams, and balancing social life with personal reflection time and solitude.
During the middle of the month, and right after the Full Moon, Venus enters Pisces and Mars enters Cancer, which will bring up emotional issues and potential release in areas of love, sex, affection, and more personal bonding in social life. This is excellent for water signs especially, but a little steamy for fire signs.
Ignite your fires into the spring! Leap forwards into the unknown! Go beyond fear and release yourself from the past.

It is nearly 40 acres and one of the most pristine sites left in the Eugene Urban Growth Boundary, home to the Pileated Woodpecker, Red Legged Frog and many other woodland creatures. It hosts Grand Fir Stands, Oak, Maple, Madrone and Ash trees. Its diverse native vegetation consists of Wayside aster, Tall bugbane, Corn lily, Twin flower, California fescue, Candy flower and Cow parsnip, just to name a few. It is part of the Amazon Headwaters and has a large stream corridor with many seasonal creeks and wetlands that flow into the Amazon Creek. >>

Please share this information widely. I am not from Eugene, so I'm not sure the city council will care about my opinion. So I am getting the word out as best I can.

Hi everyone......

I'm new to this tribe. Hence, the introduction.

I was directed to this by a dear friend and wellwisher Mike DeVito. Everything about me can be gathered, both, from my profile, as

well as from my website.

With the humble knowledge that I have in esoteric sciences, my main aim of my visits to US for past few years (on a regular basis)

is to create a 'true awareness' among people about 'what lies ahead' as the FUTURE for my friends/clients...

Yes, after having spent a huge amount on tickets, stay & other expenses, the remuneration also has to be considered.

Unlike other visits, this time I intend to do things on individual basis. Starting with their Vedic Astrological Chart and moving on to

'solving' problems through Mantras, Tantra, Gem Therapy and personal teachings based on ancient Hindu tenets.

I'll be coming to U.S around Feb/March.& having base mainly in L.A.& Colorado .

Going to other places is still tentative....All depends on the 'economic' factors listed above...Pl.do let me know if that is possible

the time is NOW to become superhuman

Leaders, shamans, visionaries, Humans... With the incredible shift that is happening on so many different levels right now (economic, political, emotional, spiritual, global climate, personal) we must prepare ourselves for even crazier times to come. Now is the time for emergency permaculture, growing food wherever we can, catching and storing water, stopping our destruction of the environment, decreasing our dependence on petroleum and its products.
It is time to leave the drama behind, so much karma and buried issues have been coming up for so many, and it can be difficult to deal with it all, but it is TIME to process and release, because if we don't, the next time it comes up it will be magnified.
It is time to cut cords to all the people and things that we love, leaving no attachments behind that could pull on us- or devastate us- as change continues to spiral around the world. Collective consciousness is coming closer to the forefront, we are all merging as humans, our energy bodies expanding (call down your starseed energy, your Highest Self, it has been millenia since we were able to manifest so much of our Spirit!). That means we are more susceptible to others' triumphs- and traumas, which will be numerous. Everyone's power will increase, whether they are currently aware of power or not. Involuntary telepathy and manifestation of fears, dreams, and hopes will be prevalent. Energetic shields and filters are vital to preserve our own sense of self and "sanity", not allowing ourselves to be swept aware in the current of human emotion while processing what we can for the masses and most importantly, ourselves, crying and screaming when we need to be able to at a split second come back to focus and take care of our own personal missions, always being present and grateful for what we have and have had.
There is great potential, brethren and sistren, for mass awakening, for a rebirth of human civilization based on peace and sustainability. But first, many must die, martyrs to the revolution, willing or not. Heed your heart's calls to go on a second's notice, or stay and help midwife the spiritual rebirth where you already hold influence and have connection. Even then, be ready to leave when the call comes, we face many environmental catastrophes on the scale of New Orleans and beyond. Listen to your heart. Tell your people you love them, are grateful for them, air out any unfinised business, take care of anything you would have wished you did if the chance no longer remains.
Clear karma, clear debt, clear emotions until your energy body is distilled, pure. Offer yourself into service of the Light and the Earth Mama, she will guide you. Know that it is all Divine, that the Earth is waking up her children and all the strife that we face can very well come to bear fruit of paradise. Hold your visions of a positive new world order close. Know that we can manifest our collective dream.

children energy nourishes the land and brings new Birth

I just took my 4 and a half-year-old friend Kiva down to YewWood for 10 days. Living there now, are Gabrielle, also 4 and a half, and Orion, an energetic, brilliant future firedancing warrior superstar, and Ely, 7, also visited. The land rejoiced in the children, welcome Kiva the city girl until she was no longer afraid of being alone in the woods, saw fairies ("invisible glittery sparkles"), led tours to all the nature shrines (especially Pan shrine). A manifesting nymph spirit of a new spring, a daughter of Pan and the goddess of the water shrine I believe, fed off of the girls' energy and bestowed many blessings on them from behind her oracle scrying pool. She is being born on an energetic level, still figuring out how to translate her energy into a form humans can perceive on the spiritual level, perhaps as the dimensions shift and Earth power and Human perception increases, she will become visible on the physical. Now, we listen to her quiet requests, she asked for the little priestesses to be initiated there into land stewardship and co-creation. Here's to new nature spirits being born into this changing world, bringing wisdom, balance, string new voices, integrating human evolution- more techno fairies and ambphibious beings that can bring the magic of sacred earth to city hearts....

I just spent some quality time at YewWood, listening to the many voices of the land... With the burial of Mark's parents' ashes on the land, many more spirits (including my own paternal grandfather, for anice little visit) have been drawn to this portal place, and I received teachings on guiding lost spirits through. So many people expect to cease existence after life ends, or remain attached to relationships or earthly sensations, thus find themselves in that limbo place, clueless and ungrounded, wailing through space or lingering. One spirit told me he wanted to be with his young girlfriend... I got that she was now an old woman, and told him to go make a nice place for her to meet him at, rather than moping around, to which my candle flickered and I knew that was a right thing to say. This work intimidates me a bit, especially in cedar henge (a rest stop on a spirit highway through the land) on those nights when it is thick with activity that discourages human presence. Shuffling, suffering zombies always terrified me for some reason, and some of these spirits resemble them, though I am not yet able to see them (thankfully, I am not yet ready!), just intuitively feel their presence. As the dimensions come closer together and the rapid change accelerates across the land, we will be able to sense more and more spirits, and they will have more impact on our lives. Though they have always had impact and there have been folks who worked with them for millenia... They can be sources of information and assistance, malevolent beings who suck energy or possess weak forms, or neutral but cluttering waifs who need shepherding. When one is off their center, they are more likely to become inhabited or influenced by malevolent or confused spirits. The job of maintaining clear space and keeping unwanted spirits at bay becomes increasingly important, even as the society we live discourages and medicates away such awareness... Awareness is the first step, being aware of one's self and any intrusive energies within our own physical and spiritual space, whether they come from disembodied spirits, loved ones, or the global communal psyche.

the book "Standing By Words; Essays" by Wendell Berry is wowing me right now....definitely thick stuff...it was really hard to even find a stopping place for this quote but i feel it is critically important that it is shared and talked about....

so here goes...let me know what you think!

I would like to speak more precisely than I have before of the connections that join people, land, and community—to describe, for example, the best human use of a problematical hillside farm. In a healthy culture, these connections are complex. The industrial economy breaks them down by oversimplifying them and in the process raises obstacles that make it hard for us to see what the connections are or what they ought to be. These are mental obstacles, of course, and there appear to be two major ones: the assumption that knowledge (information) can be “sufficient,” and the assumption that time and work are short.
These assumptions will be found implicit in a whole set of contemporary beliefs: that the future can be studied and planned for; that limited supplies can be wasted without harm; that good intentions can safeguard the use of nuclear power. A recent newspaper article says, for example, “a congressionally mandated study of the Ogallala Aquifer is finding no great cause for alarm from [sic] its rapidly dropping levels. The director of the …study…says that even at current rates of pumping, the aquifer can supply the Plains with water for another forty to fifty years….All six states participating in the study…are forecasting increased farm yields based on improved technology.” Another article speaks of a different technology with the same optimism: “The nation has invested hundreds of billions of dollars in atomic weapons and at the same time has developed the most sophisticated strategies to fine-tune their use to avoid a holocaust. Yet the system that is meant to activate them is the weakest link in the chain….Thus, some have suggested that what may be needed are warning systems for the warning systems.”
Always the assumption is that we can first set demons at large, and then, somehow, become smart enough to control them. This is not childishness. It is not even “human weakness.” It is a kind of idiocy, but perhaps we will not cope with it and save ourselves until we regain the sense to call it evil.
The trouble, as in our conscious moments we all know, is that we are terrifyingly ignorant. The most learned of us are ignorant. The acquisition of knowledge always involves the revelation of ignorance—almost is the revelation of ignorance. Our knowledge of the world instructs us first of all that the world is greater than our knowledge of it. To those who rejoice in the abundance and intricacy of Creation, this is a source of joy, as it is to those who rejoice in freedom. (“The future comes only by surprise,” we say, “—thank God!”) to those would-be solvers of “the human problem,” who hope for knowledge equal to (capable of controlling) the world, it is a source of unremitting defeat and bewilderment. The evidence is overwhelming that knowledge does not solve “ the human problem.” Indeed, the evidence overwhelmingly suggests—with Genesis—that knowledge is the problem. Or perhaps we should say instead that all our problems tend to gather under two questions about knowledge: Having the ability and desire to know, how and what should we learn? And, having learned, how and for what should we use what we know?
One thing we do know, that we dare not forget, is that better solutions than ours have at times been made by people with much less information than we have. We know too, from the study of agriculture, that the same information, tools, and techniques that in one farmer’s hands will ruin land, in another’s will save and improve it.
This is not a recommendation of ignorance. To know nothing, after all, is no more possible than to know enough. I am only proposing that knowledge, like everything else, has its place, and that we need urgently now to put it in its place. If we want to know and cannot help knowing, then let us learn as fully and accurately as we decently can. But let us at the same time abandon our superstitious beliefs about knowledge: that it is ever sufficient; that it can solve problems; that it is intrinsically good; that it can be used objectively or disinterestedly. Let us acknowledge that the objective or disinterested researcher is always on the side that pays best. And let us give up our forlorn pursuit of the “informed decision.”
The “informed decision,” I suggest, is as fantastical a creature as the “disinterested third party” and the “objective observer.” Or it is if by “informed” we mean “supported by sufficient information.” A great deal of our public life, and certainly the most expensive part of it, rests on the assumed possibility of decisions so informed. Examination of private life, however, affords no comfort whatsoever to that assumption. It is simply true that we do not and cannot know enough to make any important decision………….
